I have had a frozen left shoulder for about 16 months now and it has made it quite difficult and painful doing simple things like putting my jacket on or holding on to the overhead rail on the tube. All my GP could offer was some pain killers! I was quite nervous about having any therapy since I imagined it would be painful, however, after just three very relaxing and pain free treatments with Maria I have regained most of the movement in my shoulder. I have an ongoing problem with tennis elbow, it causes me so much pain at times I cannot even sleep, every day things become unbearable. I have been having physio on it for three months now, followed up by exercises at home to no avail. Maria was recommended to me by my sister-in-law who does massage, but not sports massage. I've only had a few massages in the past as I didn't see the necessity in having them but 5 minutes into my massage with Maria, I was so relaxed and in a state of bliss that I now see the importance in treating myself once in a while.
